A story in Thursday’s editions of The Washington Times incorrectly reported the time frame in which signatures must be obtained to force a referendum to block a bill granting legal recognition of same-sex marriages in the District. Under D.C. law, the signatures must be collected before a congressional review of the bill expires, which is expected to be in July.
