K. Hovnanian Homes is building 75 single-family homes on sites of 6,500 to 12,087 square feet at Monticello in Annapolis, a community with a swimming pool, a dog park, walking paths, an observation deck and lawn-mowing services.

Each home in this Anne Arundel County community will include a stone front, low-maintenance vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all five models feature three or four bedrooms, 2½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, crown and chair-rail molding, a gas fireplace, 42-inch oak cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen, ceramic tile flooring in the baths, a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower, a rough-in for a lower-level bath, and gas heat.

The homes have 2,466 to 3,052 finished square feet, with base prices from $484,990 to $554,990. Homeowner association fees are $107 per month.

The Oxford model, with 2,654 square feet, is priced from $519,990. This home features a front porch leading into an open two-story foyer and two-story living room. Columns separate the living room from the formal dining room.

A split staircase accessible from the foyer and the family room leads to the upper and lower levels.

The main level also has an open family room, breakfast area and kitchen, a library and a powder room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bath. Three more bedrooms, a second full bath with a double-sink vanity, and a laundry room complete this level.

An elevator and a loft can be added to this model. Other options include finished lower levels, sunrooms, morning rooms, conservatories, bay windows, and tray or vaulted ceilings.
