ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Out of respect for those murdered in the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers, no mosques should be allowed anywhere near ground zero (“Tax dollars to build mosques,” Comment & Analysis, Wednesday).

Radical Islam practices violence. Muhammad commanded his followers to spread by the sword the faith he preached, and this is exactly what extremist Muslims are doing throughout the world. To them, America is “Big Satan” and Israel is “Little Satan.” In Muslim countries, children are brainwashed with this garbage from an early age in school.

Real evil, characterized by the spread of intolerance and promotion of murder, is anti-God. Violence and hatred are incompatible with His nature and the nature of the soul. The one true God is not pleased by bloodshed.

Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and reason properly, without violence or threats. To convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm or weapons of any kind.
