President Obama continues to refuse to call the recent terrorist attacks, whether successful orunsuccessful, by theirreal name: Islamic fundamentalistjihad against our civilization.

Perhaps the avoidance of such politically incorrect terms by our current president accounts for the sharp drop-off in his approval ratings by the American electorate and the rise retroactively in the approval ratings not only of former President George W. Bush but also Vice President Richard Cheney. At least these individuals had the courage and resolve to call a spade a spade, contrary to our current president.

The American public dislikes obfuscation, and, if nothing changes, they will voice their dispeasure at it in the 2010 election.
