President Obama does not trust BP — and a growing number of Americans no longer trust Mr. Obama.

Slippery as the crude he decries, the president is using the oil spill to despoil the private sector and grease the wheels of his cap-and-trade engine. Terrible as it is, the Gulf oil spill pales in comparison to the rising political cesspool spilling into Washington.

Let us all work very hard to clean up this mess. Scoop up Mr. Obama and his far-left administration and toss them right into the outgoing political tide.
