BATON ROUGE, LA. (AP) - LSU starting strong safety Brandon Taylor injured his right leg in the first quarter of the Tigers’ home game against Alabama on Saturday.

Taylor, putting no pressure on his injured leg, was helped off the field by two trainers. Taylor was hurt in pass coverage but was not in on the tackle when he was hurt.

Taylor, a junior, entered the game with 43 tackles and five passes defended. LSU officials had no immediate word on the extent of his injury.
