Ryan Homes is building 1,400 single-family homes on sites of less than a quarter-acre at Brunswick Crossing in Brunswick, a planned community with a community center, a swimming pool with a pool house and gym, recreational fields, and walking trails. The community is close to a MARC train station, and residents can drive easily to Frederick, Md.; Leesburg, Va.; and Charles Town, W.Va.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include a low-maintenance exterior with 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all 11 models feature three or four bedrooms; 2½ baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail molding; a fireplace; maple cabinets, recessed lighting and a choice of gas or electric cooking in the kitchen; upgraded ceramic tile in the baths, a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; Energy Star certification; double-paned windows; and gas heat.

The homes have 1,944 to 2,935 finished square feet, with base prices from $294,990 to $388,990. Homeowner association fees are $55 to $82 per month.

The Avalon model, with 2,935 square feet, is priced from $388,990. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by the living room and dining room. A split staircase with access from the kitchen and foyer leads to the upper level.

The main level has a corner study or optional bedroom, a powder room and a two-story family room with a wall of windows surrounding the fireplace. Nearby are the center-island kitchen, breakfast area and laundry room. Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bath. Three more bedrooms and a second full bath complete this level.

Options include finished lower levels, finished attics, sunrooms, morning rooms, room extensions, bay windows, tray ceilings and a three-car garage.
