WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police say a suspicious package found in the Thomas Circle area in downtown Washington is not hazardous.

Police spokeswoman Officer Tisha Gant says police arrived at the scene Wednesday morning. Gant says no hazardous materials were found and streets have reopened after being shut down during the investigation.
