The Washington Times recently published an excellent piece about Bahrain, penned by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa (“Stability is prerequisite for progress,” Commentary, Wednesday).

However, the headline on top of the piece said “Persian Gulf.” To Arabs, that body of water is known as the Arabian Gulf. But those who do not want to take sides on whether it is the Persian Gulf or the Arabian Gulf refer to it simply as the Gulf.
