A 20-year-old woman died Tuesday afternoon from injuries sustained during a Monday shooting outside a Capitol Heights nightclub.

Jasmine Jerona Banks, of the 6500 block of Insey Street in District Heights, was hospitalized early Monday after she and another person were struck by gunfire around 2:45 a.m., Prince George’s County police said. Ms. Banks was hospitalized in serious condition and the man who was struck was treated for not-life threatening injuries after the shooting.

A club manager said shots were fired from a vehicle as it drove down Central Avenue past the venue.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, police said.
