The problems that this great nation faces regarding immigration are being created by politicians. Could it be that they see illegal aliens as a potential voting bloc, a way to keep the liberal agenda in play?

The elections of 2010 should have been a wake-up call for those who are pretenders to the Constitution and our American way of life. State coffers are being sucked dry by the costs of entitlements and welfare, a large portion going to people who are in the United States illegally, who pay little or no taxes and place crushing demands on our social services. There are federal laws on the books to be followed to achieve U.S. citizenship, just like my great-grandmother followed them as she trekked through Ellis Island many years ago.
