ASHBURN, Va. | The Washington Redskins will be sending a pair of linebackers to the Pro Bowl.

London Fletcher and Brian Orakpo were promoted to the NFC roster Monday.

Fletcher takes the place of Chicago’s Brian Urlacher, who has withdrawn due to an injury.

Orakpo gets the spot vacated by Green Bay’s Clay Matthews, who will be playing in Super Bowl.

Both Fletcher and Orakpo are going for the second straight year. They’ll join cornerback DeAngelo Hall, giving Washington three representatives from a defense than ranked 31st in the NFL this season.

The Pro Bowl takes place Sunday in Hawaii, the second consecutive year it has been played the week before the Super Bowl.
