SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah Jazz guard Deron Williams will miss his third straight game Wednesday night against Charlotte because of a wrist injury.

The Jazz are 1-1 without Williams, who will be replaced in the starting lineup by Earl Watson.

Reserve center Mehmet Okur will miss his 34th game of the season, and the second straight because of a lower-back strain.

Watson had 13 assists and 10 rebounds Friday in a win over Minnesota, and had eight points, five steals and four rebounds in Sunday’s loss at Golden State.

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said doctors don’t want to rush Williams back.
