Ryland Homes is building 24 town homes at the Towns at Oak Hill in Gaithersburg, a community with a gazebo, a picnic table, privacy fencing and a wood-chip walking trail. Sales are anticipated to begin in April.

Residents are less than one mile from the Shops at Town Center and the MARC commuter train. More shopping centers, a health club, a movie theater and summer outdoor concerts are all available within less than six miles. Interstate 270 is two miles from the development.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a partial brick front, a deck and a two-car garage.

Inside, each home has three finished levels with three bedrooms; 3½ baths; oak railings; 42-inch oak cabinets and a pantry in the center-island kitchen; a luxury master bath with a double-sink vanity, a soaking tub and separate shower; a programmable thermostat; low-E windows; and a high-efficiency furnace.

The Stratshire model homes have approximately 1,800 finished square feet, with base prices from the mid- to upper $300,000s. Homeowner association fees are $100 per month.

Each town home has a first-floor entrance into a foyer with an adjacent great room with an optional fireplace. Stairs to the upper and lower levels are located at the center of the home near a powder room.

At the back of the main level are a family room with an adjacent closet, and a dining area open to the center-island kitchen. Sliding glass doors lead from the kitchen to the deck.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bath. Two more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level.

The lower level has a flex room, a storage room and a full bath.

Options include hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings in the bedrooms, bay windows, fireplaces, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and end-unit locations.
