BRIDGEPORT, CONN. (AP) - Kenny Reiter made 32 saves and the University of Minnesota-Duluth beat Union College at its own game _ power play goals _ for a 2-0 victory in the NCAA East Regional on Friday.

Kyle Schmidt and Justin Fontaine scored man-advantage goals for the Bulldogs. UMD (23-10-6) advanced to play the winner of No. 1 Yale against No. 4 Air Force in the final on Saturday night.

Union (26-9-4) has the top-ranked power play in the nation, converting 31.1 percent of its opportunities. But it went 0 for 9 in its first Division I appearance in the tournament.

Schmidt scored on the power play in the first period on a redirected shot. Fontaine added his goal at 6:24 of the third period.

UMD was 2 for 8 on the power play.

Union goalie Keith Kinkaid finished with 28 saves.
