K. Hovnanian is building 55 single-family homes on quarter-acre sites at the Palisades at Oak Creek in Upper Marlboro, near Woodmore Towne Centre and the Boulevard at the Capital Centre. The community includes a walking trail to a park and tot lots.

The builder is offering $20,000 for closing costs and a free morning room with the use of the preferred mortgage and title company.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include a brick front, low-maintenance vinyl siding, professional landscaping, a sodded lawn and a two-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms, 2½ to 4½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, crown and chair-rail molding, a gas fireplace, 42-inch raised-panel oak cabinets and granite counters in the center-island kitchen, ceramic tile flooring in the baths, a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower, a rough-in for a lower-level bath, and gas heat.

The homes have approximately 3,025 to 4,100 finished square feet, with base prices from $442,990 to $529,990. Homeowner association fees are $38 per month.

The Colorado model, with 3,433 square feet, is priced from $472,990. This home features a front porch leading into a two-story foyer flanked by the formal living room and formal dining room.

The model has a split staircase to the upper level accessible from the foyer and the kitchen.

Across the back of the house are a library, powder room, two-story family room and a center-island kitchen and breakfast area. A walk-in pantry and laundry room are off the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room with a vaulted ceiling, three walk-in closets and a luxury bath. The remaining three bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet, share a full bath.

Options include finished lower levels, built-ins, extra windows and tray ceilings.
