CHICAGO (AP) - Cleveland Indians designated hitter Travis Hafner was sidelined again Thursday because his right side was still sore.

Manager Manny Acta didn’t say if not Hafner was going to be placed on the disabled list.

Hafner was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup after experiencing discomfort while swinging in batting practice. Acta said he will probably get an MRI when the team returns to Cleveland on Friday.

The 33-year-old slugger is hitting .345 with five home runs and 22 RBIs through 32 games. Over his past three games, Hafner had gone 5 for 11 with three doubles, one homer and six RBIs.
