Three people were killed over the weekend in Northeast and Southeast D.C. in separate incidents, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

In the most recent killing, which occurred at 1:30 a.m. Monday, police said a man was fatally shot in the 1100 block of Stevens Road in Southeast. Police identified the man as Antonio Headspeth, 25, of Southeast, and said he was shot multiple times. He died at the scene in the Barry Farms neighborhood.

On Sunday around 8:20 p.m., a man was fatally stabbed in the 1900 block of I Street Northeast in the Carver-Langston neighborhood. Police said Jawan Parker, 31, of Northeast was taken to a hospital but died from his injuries. Officials are now searching for a female in her late 20s in connection with the homicide.

Police were withholding the names of both victims Monday morning.

In the weekend’s first killing on Saturday, 21-year-old Davon Paul Gray was fatally shot in the 2500 block of High Street Southeast. Police were called to the Anacostia neighborhood around 11 p.m. and found Mr. Gray, of Northeast, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at a local hospital.
