BREAKING NEWS:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum on Tuesday suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, clearing a path for Mitt Romney to become the nominee.

Mr. Santorum made the announcement here in his home state, two weeks before its GOP presidential primary. He faced a tough fight in the Keystone State against Mr. Romney, a former Massachusetts governor.
