A Temple Hills man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman found in a vacant apartment unit in the same complex where the man lived, police said Saturday.

Joshua Barlow, 19, was arrested Friday and charged in connection with the death of 30-year-old Latoya Debina Hall, who was found dead Wednesday inside a Temple Hills apartment, according to Prince George’s County police.

Investigators believe Mr. Barlow contacted Ms. Hall through an erotic services ad and asked her to come to the apartment, in the 4000 block of 28th Avenue, sources close to the investigation said. Maintenance workers found Ms. Hall. of Suitland dead inside the apartment with her arms and legs bound.

Robbery appears to be the motive in the killing and Mr. Barlow will also face robbery-related charges, police said.

Mr. Barlow is being held without bond at the Prince Georges County jail.
