As Michigan prepared to become the 24th right to work state in the country, State Rep. Doug Geiss took to Twitter with violent rhetoric, saying: “”We are going to undo 100 years of labor relations. And there will be blood. We will relive the Battle of the Overpass.” The battle Mr. Geiss referenced involved a 1937 incident in which Ford Motor Co. security guards and members of organized labor came to blows.

Imagine if a state represenative who identified as a Tea Party member tweeted “there will be blood” in response to a legislative loss.
