One man was fatally shot and two others seriously wounded in three separate incidents Wednesday in the District, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The shootings were part of crime spree that also included 10 robberies reported overnight and into the early morning hours.

The fatal shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Saratoga Avenue Northeast, and no arrests have been made, police said.

Another man was shot in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road Southeast at about 3:45 p.m. Police said he was conscious and breathing when taken to the hospital.

A woman was shot multiple times in a domestic-related shooting in the 3300 block of Alden Place Northeast at about 7 p.m., police said. The woman knew her shooter, and police are now looking for the man.

A string of armed robberies also continued to plague Northwest neighborhoods. Five robberies, including two in which robbers brandished guns, occurred before 4 a.m. Thursday in Northwest. Two other armed robberies were reported at about 6 a.m. close to Dupont Circle.

In addition, three robberies were reported in Southeast overnight. The robbers held up their victims at gunpoint in two of the incidents, police said.
