Arlington County police released a video Tuesday that shows people walking past the body of a man who was struck and killed by a car earlier this month.

The surveillance video was taken from a bus on July 1 and shows several people walking past the body of 35-year-old Edgar Francisco Aguilar, which lay on the sidewalk next to a bus stop, and others peering out bus windows to look at him but not rendering him any assistance.

Aguilar was struck and killed by a vehicle as he crossed Columbia Pike at the Four Mile Run Drive intersection.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene, but police said they have released the video in the hopes of soliciting more information about the crash from witnesses.
