Two teens were arrested and have been charged as adults in connection with Saturday night’s killing of a 54-year-old man in Bladensburg.

Andre Attaway, 16, and James Murray, 17, both of Hyattsville, were arrested on Sunday and charged as adults with first-degree murder and robbery. Police say the teens provided statements admitting their involvement.

Bladensburg police responded to complaints of disorderly people drinking and chasing each other with shovels, according to the Prince George’s County police. When officers arrived at the 5200 block of Newton Street, they found David Krupski’s body on the side of the road, a few yards from his home.

Mr. Krupski was beaten to death after being chased and robbed, according to police. He suffered from trauma to the upper body.

Mr. Krupski’s body has been taken to the Baltimore Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy.
