Prince George’s County police released a surveillance video of a weekend robbery at a Shell Gas Station in the 6300 block of Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant.

According to police, a man entered the gas station around 11:15 p.m. Sunday. He wanted to exchange an item he purchased. When the employee couldn’t make the exchange, the suspect became angry and kicked in the security door. He entered the cashier’s room and assaulted the employee while demanding a replacement item. The suspect then took merchandise from the business and fled the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit, text “PGPD plus your message” to CRIMES or submit a tip at Prince George’s County website.
