D.C. police arrested a Southeast man in connection with a stabbing Thursday night.

Officer Araz Alali, a police spokesman, said two men began arguing when one man stabbed the other man. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue around 8:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anton Fields was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
