One person was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Clarksburg.

The crash happened around 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of Frederick Road and Brink Road, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.

Both roads were closed as police investigate and clear the wreckage. No further information about the person killed, or the condition of others who were in either vehicle.

Traffic at the intersection is guided by a stop sign rather than stop light.

Police were uncertain if the inclement weather from approaching Hurricane Sandy played any role in the crash.
