ANALYSIS/OPINION:

President Obama’s inability to resurrect the 2008 swagger that so mesmerized voters in the last election — and which carried into the privacy of the voting booth — was decidedly absent during his debate with GOP challenger Mitt Romney last Wednesday (“Obama camp looking for answers in aftermath,” Web, Thursday).

Mr. Obama’s poor showing in the debate wasn’t helped by his going to Las Vegas to do all of his preparations. After all, the city’s motto is “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” Apparently, all of Mr. Obama’s debate preparations stayed behind in Vegas when he traveled to Denver for the actual debate.
