A British blind couple has decided to say “I do” after their guide dogs became inseparable at puppy school nearly a year ago.

Claire Johnson, 50, and Mark Gaffey, 52, from Stoke-On-Trent in Staffordshire, England, became romantically involved after their pups Venice and Rodd spent every moment playing and nuzzling each other at a training course, the New York Daily News reported.

Eleven months after the couple’s first meeting and they have decided to tie the knot.

“During the training our two dogs seemed to know something we didn’t,” Mr. Gaffey told the Daily News. “The trainers said they were the love and romance of the course, and they brought us together.”

Ms. Johnson said the dogs would be ring bearers on the special day.
