A Brooklyn couple who hosted a radio show called “The Pursuit of Happiness” committed suicide together at least a week ago in their Park Slope home, the New York Daily News exclusively reported Wednesday.

Lynne Rosen, a 46-year-old psychotherapist, and John Littig, a 48-year-old motivational speaker, were found dead on a couch in their living room, leaving behind two suicide notes, police said Wednesday.

“We’re going to do this together,” was the gist of Littig’s note, sources told the Daily News. He said he couldn’t watch his wife suffer anymore.

“Her note basically said she was sorry for doing this,” a police source said, according to the Daily News. “We believe she had some psychological problems.”

The couple had been best known for their self-help radio show called “The Pursuit of Happiness” on WBAI-FM.

During their last airing, the couple spoke about how change and spontaneity can increase well-being.

“People get scared to make changes, right, and to step out of that comfort zone,” Rosen said.

The inspirational pair used what’s described on the FDNY web site as suicide bags or “exit bags” to kill themselves, which are basically just bags filled with helium that cause the user to quickly asphyxiate.

“They are said to provide a fast, peaceful, undetectable death to those wishing to commit suicide,” the web site reads.

Joseph Brooks, who composed “You Light Up My Life” for Debby Boone, used the same method to kill himself two years ago after he was accused of raping 13 women, the Daily News reports.

Police didn’t say when the couple expired, but neighbors told the Daily News that they were told they had been dead for a week before they were found.

“I could smell it all day yesterday,” neighbor Elizabeth Pongo said.
