ANALYSIS/OPINION:

With an approval rating of less than 38 percent, President Obama was still able to get another left-wing senator elected in New Jersey (“Cory Booker wins Senate seat in N.J., must campaign soon,” Web, Oct. 17). Either the voting machines are rigged beyond hope, or the majority of New Jersey’s voters actually want a total collapse of the economy and Mr. Obama’s civilian army marching in their backyards.

The choice was clear for New Jersey voters: Regain some semblance of sanity or continue to back Mr. Obama’s transformation of America into the socialist state he envisions for the world. Good work, New Jersey. But then, you made Jim McGreevey governor of your state, so what did I expect?
