BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) - Four people have been hurt in an apartment fire in Brooklyn Park.

Fire officials say the blaze started about 1 a.m. at the Huntington Place apartment complex. Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Mike Maurer says firefighters rescued some residents who were trapped in their apartments and were hanging out of their windows.

Tenant Keshon Walker says other residents jumped from windows. Four people were transported to the hospital. Fire officials say the injuries don’t appear to be major.

WCCO-TV (https://cbsloc.al/PdnGjh ) reports Maurer says the fire apparently started in a hallway.
