HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police are searching for an ex-security guard at a strip club where a pregnant cleaning woman was found slain following a robbery.

Police say a capital murder warrant has been issued for 23-year-old Osvaldo Fernandez-Aguilar.

Investigators say 27-year-old Maria Lucrecia was about five months pregnant when her body was discovered the afternoon of March 22. The victim’s husband became concerned when he couldn’t reach her as she cleaned the strip club, which was closed at the time.

A manager contacted police, which led to the discovery of Lucrecia’s body at the adult establishment. Police say about $1,000 was stolen from a cash register.

Police on Monday announced charges against Fernandez-Aguilar.
