SHOSHONE, Idaho (AP) - A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday in Shoshone.

The Times-News reports (https://bit.ly/1iUIyWX ) the driver was traveling south on U.S. Highway 93 about 6:30 p.m. when he missed a curve in the road and hit a pole.

The Idaho State Police identified him as 32-year-old Johnathon Jackson of Shoshone. Trooper Jason Lalonde tells the Times-News that the driver’s speed and the reason for the crash are unknown.

Shoshone police, Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies and Idaho State Police responded. The Idaho State Police are investigating.
