WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) - Deputies and animal control officers in Chelan County are searching Friday for two dogs that attacked farm animals overnight at Dryden.

The sheriff’s office says the dogs killed one goat, injured other goats and killed 15 chickens, three peacocks and two ducks.

One of the dogs ran at a homeowner who fired a shotgun in the air and also ran toward a deputy who arrived at the scene. The sheriff’s office says the deputy fired at the dog, but it ran off and it’s uncertain whether it was hit.

The dogs are not wearing collars. One is describe as a black shepherd-type dog and the other is a white or light brown Husky with spots.
