DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - The trial of a former Boone man charged with killing his wife has been delayed again.

Online court records show 40-year-old Alexander Fazzino’s trial has been continued to October 27. It was scheduled to begin in June.

This marks the second delay since Fazzino was arrested in April 2013. He is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Emily Fazzino. She was found dead on a bathroom floor at the couple’s Boone home in January 2012.

Online court records show Fazzino has pleaded not guilty. The Des Moines Register reports (https://dmreg.co/1m4fLjN ) he is currently free on bond.

The trial will be held at the Winneshiek County Courthouse in Decorah, after it was moved from Boone County and Buchanan County because of publicity surrounding the case.
