CINCINNATI (AP) - Cincinnati police say a 16-year-old girl now in custody is suspected in the lunchtime robbery of a bank.

A statement from police says a female wearing a black sweatshirt, dark pants and a black hat gave a teller a note demanding money at a PNC Bank branch on Monday. Police say the robber received an undetermined amount of cash and fled the bank.

Local media report police quickly tracked the suspect to a shopping center and briefly blocked the exits until they found and arrested her.

Police say she was taken to a juvenile detention center. It wasn’t immediately clear whether she had an attorney.
