LOVINGSTON, Va. (AP) - Law enforcement officials are searching near the home of a man suspected in the disappearance of a Virginia teenager last summer.

Media reports say the search Monday is focusing in an area around the rural Nelson County home of 48-year-old Randy Allen Taylor.

Taylor is charged with the slaying of 17-year-old Alexis Murphy. Her body has never been found.

Murphy was last seen at a gas station in Lovingston on Aug. 3.

Taylor’s trial is scheduled for May 1. He has denied killing Murphy.
