GOOCHLAND, Va. (AP) - A fifth person faces gang-related charges linked to the death of a Waynesboro reserve police officer.

Media outlets report that 23-year-old Kweli Uhuru of Front Royal is charged with felony gang participation. Uhuru also is known as Travis Leon Bell.

Uhuru is being held at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.

The charges stem from the investigation of 45-year-old Kevin Wayne Quick’s disappearance and death.

Quick was reported missing Feb. 1 after he failed to show up the night before at his girlfriend’s residence in Albemarle County. His body was found in a wooded area in Goochland County on Feb. 6. The cause of death hasn’t been released.

Four other people are charged with felony gang participation stemming from the investigation.
