LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock say foul play is suspected after a woman was found dead by a co-worker at a home on the city’s southwest side.

Sgt. Cassandra Davis tells the Arkansas-Democrat Gazette ( ) that the woman’s body was found Tuesday when the co-worker went to the home because she had not heard from her in a few days.

The woman is described only as in her late 40s or early 50s. Davis said the cause and time of the death has not been determined but said evidence at the scene leads police to investigate the case as a homicide.
