EFFINGHAM, Ill. (AP) - A south-central Illinois man has died after a tractor he was driving flipped onto him.
The Effingham Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1t5FyfM ) that 65-year-old Kenneth Zarecki of Mulberry Grove died Saturday. Fayette County Coroner Bruce Bowen says Zarecki was killed instantly. He says Zarecki was using the tractor to remove a tree when the tractor flipped and pinned him.
Bowen pronounced Zarecki dead at the scene. The coroner’s office is continuing to investigate the accident.
Mulberry Grove is a village of about 600 residents in Bond County. It is about 60 miles northeast of St. Louis.
