MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Medford police believe that a sex offender accused of bumping against a woman who was bent over to examine merchandise at a Target store has abused dozens of women a similar way.
The Mail Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1gC442y ) 53-year-old David Neal Reynolds surrendered last week on sexual abuse and other charges.
The contact happened March 29. Police said the 41-year-old victim is involved in law enforcement and reported the man had pressed his pelvis against her. An officer recognized Reynolds from surveillance video as a registered sex offender.
Police said that based on statements from Reynolds, they think there have been many such incidents at grocery and department stores over the years.
