ROGERS, Minn. (AP) - A passer-by pulled a driver to safety after she lost control of her car and crashed into a pond in Rogers.

Police say the 46-year-old St. Paul woman went about 150 yards down an embankment before landing in the pond Monday afternoon. An unidentified man who saw the crash ran down to the pond, swam about 30 yards to the vehicle, got the woman out of the car and helped her to shore.

Police Chief Jeff Beahen tells KARE-TV (https://kare11.tv/1hQZsS7 ) the car was in about six feet of water. The woman didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
