MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota judicial officials are warning of a phone scam that involves jury duty.
Residents in Olmsted, Rice, Dakota and Ramsey counties have reported getting phone messages saying they had failed to return a jury summons. The message asks for a return call. When the call is returned, someone named Angel answers the phone and asks probing questions.
The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1hKSDHN ) says prospective jurors in Scott County have reported getting calls from someone who says that he’s Major Paul Stevens and that there’s a warrant out for their arrest.
