HORN LAKE, Miss. (AP) - Horn Lake aldermen have voted to petition the Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Commission to allow alcohol sales two hours earlier on Sundays.

City Administrator Andrea Freeze tells The Commercial Appeal (https://bit.ly/1hIGXV5 ) Tuesday night’s vote would allow restaurants to make drinks containing alcohol available during brunch,

No other changes to current hours or conditions for alcohol sales would be made.

If allowed by the ABC, aldermen would then have to vote on the change before it would become effective.
