SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Spokane County voters may be asked next spring to approve a $45 million parks levy.
About half the money would pay for a field house near Riverfront Park in Spokane. The other half could pay for a new park in the Spokane Valley or Liberty Lake area.
The Spokesman-Review reports (https://bit.ly/1gAu0Is) the levy would cost the owner of a $200,000 home about $28 a year in property taxes.
