SAN SEBASTIAN, Spain (AP) - Real Sociedad manager Jagoba Arrasate has agreed to a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Basque club until the end of the 2015-16 season.
Arrasate took over for Philippe Montanier after acting as his assistant last season.
After a disappointing Champions League campaign, Sociedad is in seventh place in the Spanish league, good for a Europa League berth.
Sociedad also reached the semifinals of the Copa del Rey before exiting to Barcelona.
