GUNBARREL, Colo. (AP) - Two meatballs suspected of being poisoned have been sent to a laboratory at Colorado State University for chemical testing and another will be tested for human DNA after as many as three dogs were suspected of being poisoned at a Gunbarrel park.

Animal control specialist Sara Spensieri said Tuesday authorities have no leads.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports (https://tinyurl.com/o7qfp2p) authorities recovered eight meatballs laced with rat poison from the park since Monday.

Veterinarians are monitoring the three dogs.
