DETROIT (AP) - Authorities say a 24-year-old Detroit man ran over another man twice in a car and left him for dead after a fight at a gas station.

Authorities said Friday that Napoleon Turner III is charged with first-degree murder in the April 5 death of 39-year-old Eric Miles of Detroit.

Wayne County prosecutors say Turner knocked Miles down and ran over him while he lay motionless on the ground. They say Turner then backed up the car, pulled forward and struck Miles again before driving away.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Turner had an attorney.
