HORACE, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say no one was injured in a fire that started at a house this morning in Horace.

WDAY News in Fargo (https://bit.ly/1jkyFAj) reports that at least one person was in the house when the fire started around 10 a.m.

Fire departments from Davenport, West Fargo and Horace were called to the scene.

The house was a total loss.

West Fargo Fire Chief Roy Schatschneider tells the Associated Press the larger, open flames were gone when his crew left this afternoon. He said some shingles and other parts of the house were still smoking. He expected the local fire department to be on the scene for a while today.
